Solarium Energy Now Using Evergreen Modules; A high quality product, Designed and Manufactured in the USA.

May 2009 - San Diego, CA:  Solarium Energy has partnered with GroSolar to provide our clients with the power of Evergreen Modules.  Casey Johnson, President of Solarium Energy states:  "We have chosen the Evergreen line of products for three reasons.  First, this is a high quality product, available at the same cost of lessor quality brands.  Second, it is an American product all around, keeping jobs in the United States.  Third, the process in which this product is built makes it the most environmentally friendly module on the market, hands down.  With the added environmental benefit of no overseas shipping to your doorstep."

Commercial Clients:  The 30% Solar Tax Credit is now a Cash Grant!

Breaking News:

The American Recovery and Investment Act of 2009 allows solar owners to apply for a grant from the Treasury Department in lieu of the 30% Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which was passed late last year.

This means that a cash grant, equal to 30% of the cost of eligible solar projects, can be recouped by system owners. Projects must start construction in 2009 or 2010. Property that is not placed in service prior to December 31, 2010 qualifies for the grant program as long as construction begins prior to December 31, 2010 and is placed in service by January 1, 2017. Applications must be filed by October 1, 2011.

The grant will be issued within 60 days of the solar facility being placed in service or, if later, within sixty days of receiving a grant application. Other key details will be defined in the near future by the Treasury Department.
